The defender was hauled off at half-time during the Red Devils' 2-0 win over Brighton.
And Mourinho followed up his stunning pre-match rant by slamming individuals after the win at Old Trafford.
The United boss claimed he substituted Shaw to allow his side to 'defend better'.
But it appears Mourinho may have pushed it too far this time.
According to the Telegraph, sections of the United dressing room believe Shaw is being bullied by the boss, and has no chance of a future at the club.

I think sometimes, managers get in their head that there's a player not for them
Mourinho's latest criticism of the left-back comes just months after he claimed the defender was 'one of the best players in that position'.
Speaking after Saturday's win, United legend Paul Scholes weighed into the debate over Shaw.
The former midfielder believes Mourinho isn't keen on having the defender within his ranks.
"I think sometimes, managers get in their head that there's a player not for them," he said on BT Sport.
"He could be brilliant, and I think his manager would still find something wrong with him.
"It's a relationship that come the summer will end.
"He's just not played many games, just his body shape, he looks like needs to play games."
Only two players escaped their boss' wrath earlier this week.
FA Cup goal-scorers Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic received praise from Mourinho before he blasted other members of the United first-team.
